Experienced Sign Fabricator
About the position
UFB Fabrication is looking for an experienced sign fabricator to join our St. Louis production team. In this hands-on position, you will help build custom signage that meets project specifications and UFB’s quality standards.
The right candidate takes pride in skilled work, pays close attention to detail, solves problems, and works safely as part of a production team.

- Fabricate and assemble custom signs and sign components.
- Read and work from shop drawings, measurements, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, form, fit, weld, grind, and finish metal components as required.
- Work with aluminum, steel, acrylic, and other sign-making materials.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Check completed work for accuracy, quality, and proper construction.
- Work with production teammates to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
What we’re looking for
- Professional sign fabrication or related metal fabrication experience.
- Experience working with aluminum and steel.
- Welding, metalworking, assembly, and finishing skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure, shop drawings, and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality.
- Ability to work safely and follow established production procedures.
- Dependable attendance and a team-focused approach.
- Ability to manage different custom projects and production priorities.
